Josh Pyke

JOSH PYKE WANTS YOU TO MAKE HIS NEXT VIDEO

*TIME EXTENSION!*

Please note amended competition dates below!

Josh Pyke has worked with some very talented artists and directors in the past, and now he's calling on his fans to create the video for his new single 'You Don't Scare Me'.

Josh will choose his favourite clip from all those submitted, and the video will be used as the official clip for the single. It will be premiered on Channel Ten's Video Hits, and will then be serviced to other music video programs and stations. The director of the clip will also be awarded AUD$2500 and signed copies of Josh's albums.

There is no brief on how or what you make, so get creative with the song and interpret it in any way you see fit. We're asking for all videos to be uploaded to YouTube and will link them to www.youtube.com/joshpykevideocomp so that everyone's work has a platform for viewing.

Here's how to put your video in the running:

  • Upload your video to your own YouTube page.
  • Tag your video with the following three tags: joshpykevideocomp, joshpyke, youdontscareme.
  • Submit the entry form below by completing All Fields and Accepting the competition Terms & Conditions.

Once you've done all these things, we'll 'favourite' your clip on YouTube and it will appear in the Favourites section of www.youtube.com/joshpykevideocomp. Josh will watch all the clips and choose his favourite. The competition ends at midnight on July 9, 2009 and the winner will be announced on July 14, 2009 on Josh's Website and Myspace as well as the Ivy League Website and Myspace page.

If you don't already have the song, please Download 'You Don't Scare Me' .aif (39mb zip file).

Because the winning video may have the opportunity to be shown on television, you'll need to be able to supply it in a broadcast quality format, ideally as an uncompressed 8 or 10-bit Quicktime file in HD format. Oh yeah. If you have any questions, please email info@ivyleague.com.au.
