Dev VS The Vines

In a classic ‘We wish we were there’ moment, Dev Hynes of Lightspeed Champion performed a cracking version of The Vines ‘Get Free’ at a club in London last week with Fred MacPherson from Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man. Dev introduced the track by saying “I remember watching CD:UK and the presenter saying this band are going to be bigger than The Beatles and Nirvana combined. They were right!”.

Ten Years In The Trenches - We Survived!

A thousand thanks to everyone who made it along to our 10th Anniversary gig at The Metro in Sydney. We had an absolute blast with some rather brilliant performances from The Vines, Youth Group, Red Riders, The Mess Hall, The Silents and Hoolahan setting the tone for a massive night. Here at Ivy League, we’re currently baking fruit cakes and polishing the good silver in preparation for our massive ten year anniversary celebrations. We want more than anything for you to partake in the festivities with us though, which is why we’re letting you in on a little secret – from midday this Friday, September 28 until midnight that very same night, you’ll be able to get pre-sale tickets to the two ‘Ten Years In The Trenches’ shows happening at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on November 2 and 3.
