HOT DATE ALERT: Josh Pyke will play four intimate and exclusive theatre shows with his band this May on the ‘Love Lies’ theatre tour. Taking in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney, these shows will give fans their last chance to see Josh in 2012 before he heads off to write and record new material. At these shows Josh will also be taking a fresh approach to his new tracks and old favourites by playing around with lyrics and structure so you don’t want to miss out!

Catcall will hit the road this May on a national tour, bringing her killer new band to Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth + Newcastle for the first time. We reckon it’s an all-star line-up, what with Al Grigg (Red Riders / Palms), Andrew Elston (aka Toni Toni Lee), Bec Allen (The Fabergettes) and Simon Parker (Lost Valentinos) all on board. Al will keeping himself busy on the tour with his new band Palms the main support for all shows.

The past 12 months have been the stuff of dreams for Lanie, with pretty much everything a girl could reasonably wish for coming true. In no particular order this includes: recording with Jack White in Nashville; signing with us; seeing her debut album To The Horses enter the ARIA charts at #12; playing her first sold out national tour plus slots on a string of top notch festivals; gracing the covers of countless quality publications; tours of the US and UK; winning the FBi Radio SMAC Award for Record of the Year, and perhaps most importantly, having the time of her life whilst doing it all.

Folks in Australia will be able to catch Ms Lanie Lane performing a few very special songs on the box next Wednesday night, February 15 when she joins Adam Hills on his ABC program ‘In Gordon St Tonight’. Catcall’s stellar summer jam ‘Satellites’ just got added to triple j, so after hearing it all over your wonderful local and community stations, you’ll be hearing it a whole lot more all over the airwaves. Catcall was keen to hear how some of her friends might re-work the track, so she sent it off to a few for the remix treatment. We’re stoked to let you know that Catcall’s debut album THE WARMEST PLACE will be released on May 4, 2012 in Australia and available for digital download through iTunes everywhere else. Featuring your fave summer jam Satellites, the album is a pretty huge step forward for Catcall, the artist also known as Catherine Kelleher, who cut her musical teeth as frontwoman for Sydney art noise band Kiosk.

Catcall will be taking it back to her live roots in February though as she makes a welcome return to the stage with a stellar new band. The all-star line-up includes Al Grigg (Red Riders/Palms), Andrew Elston (aka Toni Toni Lee), Bec Allen (The Fabergettes) and Simon Parker (Lost Valentinos). Playing Sydney’s GoodGod Small Club on February 1, this is the band’s first headline appearance and follows their recent shows supporting Brazil’s CSS. Surf sensations Atom Bombs and garage gangsters Bloods will be offering their support.
